Coinbase Taps Samsung

Coinbase has announced a landmark partnership with Samsung to bring crypto services directly to tens of millions of Samsung Galaxy users. Starting immediately, over 75 million Galaxy users in the U.S. will gain exclusive access to Coinbase One, the exchange’s premium membership program through the Samsung Wallet app.

Samsung, the world’s most popular smartphone brand, is tapping Coinbase’s trusted platform to make crypto access more seamless and secure for everyday users. The move represents one of the largest integrations between a major technology company and a leading cryptocurrency exchange to date.

“Together with Samsung, we’re pairing their global scale with Coinbase’s trusted platform to deliver the best value for people to access crypto starting with more than 75 million Galaxy users across the U.S., and soon around the world,”

Said Shan Aggarwal, Chief Business Officer at Coinbase.

Coinbase One Meets Samsung Wallet

Coinbase One is an all-in-one membership offering users zero trading fees, boosted staking rewards, priority support, exclusive partner deals, and account protection for lost fund restoration in the event of unauthorized third-party access.

By integrating Coinbase One into Samsung Wallet, Galaxy users will be able to explore crypto securely and conveniently from their devices. This includes features such as the CB1 card, which enables seamless crypto spending and earning.

Additionally, Coinbase’s Samsung Pay integration is now live for users in the U.S., providing more ways for Galaxy users to engage with digital assets in their everyday lives.

A Strategic Push for Global Expansion

Samsung views this partnership as a natural extension of its mobile ecosystem.

“Samsung Wallet is a trusted tool to millions of Galaxy users, and we’re continually working to find creative ways to enhance the experience with added functionality,”

Said Drew Blackard, Senior Vice President of Mobile Product Management at Samsung Electronics America.

“Coinbase is a leader in the industry, which made them the ideal partner to provide our users with seamless access to crypto.”

Over the coming months, Coinbase and Samsung aim to expand this initiative beyond the U.S., bringing integrated crypto services to even more Galaxy users worldwide.

Why This Partnership Matters

This collaboration signals a significant step toward mainstream crypto adoption. By leveraging Samsung’s massive user base and Coinbase’s regulatory reputation and product suite, the two companies are lowering the barrier for millions to explore and use crypto securely.

For Coinbase, the partnership strengthens its position as a trusted bridge to the on-chain world. At the same time, Samsung continues to enhance the functionality of its devices to keep pace with emerging financial technologies.
